Bespoke Ties
How long should be my Tie?
- your height
- the type of knot you tie
- if you are less than 1.65 m tall, choose the short version (140 cm);
- if you are between 1.65 m and 1.85 m tall, choose a standard tie length (150 cm);
- if you are taller than 1.85 m, choose the long tie (155 cm);
- if you are between 1.85 m and 1.95 m or taller, choose and extra long tie (160 cm or 165 cm).
Orders
Do I need an account to place an order?
An order can be placed without creating an account. Creating an account during the check-out process makes it easier and faster to place new orders in the future.
Which payment method do you accept?
We accept all forms of payment: Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, and PayPal.
Does Stefano Cau have seasonal sales?
We never have seasonal sales.
What happens if the item I’ve ordered is not in stock?
Rarely but unfortunately we do run out of stock. When this happens you will be contacted immediately and offered a full refund or a similarly-priced alternative.
Can I change or cancel an order once it has been placed?
If you need to make any changes to your order, please let us know as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Please note, once your order has been despatched we are unable to make any changes.
Bespoke orders
Your bespoke order is a customised product which is made to order for each individual. It may take up to 4 WEEKS before they are ready to be shipped. Therefore we can’t sell the product to anyone else, which means a return is not possible/accepted.
Shipment
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide with the exception of Russia.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship to Italy and the rest of the world with DHL EXPRESS.
Orders are processed from Monday to Friday, orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Once the parcel is delivered to DHL, the waiting time is as follows:
- 1-2 working days for Italy and Europe
- 2-5 working days for Rest of the World
How Much Will My Shipping Charges Be?
A shipping cost of will be charged for all orders:
- Italy: 10 €
- Europe: 20 €
- USA / Canada /UK / Switzerland: 25€
- Rest of the World: 37 €
How long will it take to receive Bespoke Tie?
Our bespoke ties are made entirely by hand, from cutting to sewing, and give you the possibility to make them just the way you like most. For this exclusive service we need three to four working weeks.
Do I have to pay import duties and taxes?
For orders with non-EU destination, taxes and customs clearance costs are at the customer’s expense. For more information on customs policies, please contact your local customs office.
How can I track my order?
Once your parcel is ready for shipment we will send you an email notification with the DHL tracking number. In this way you can track your shipment.
Returns & Exchanges
How can I make a return?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 14 days to notify us of the return and ship the package back. To get a refund the product must not have been damaged, worn, and must be returned in its original box.
Send your return request to info@stefanocau.com and specify your order number.
We reserve the right not to accept the return if it is not delivered in the same condition in which it was shipped.
Do I have to pay Extra costs to make a return?
Shipping costs for returns are to be borne by the purchaser and will therefore be excluded from the refund.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive the item, we will examine it and send you a refund confirmation email. Refunds are generally issued within 10 working days after we receive the parcel. We will make the refund using the same payment method as you used to purchase the goods, but we will retain the shipping costs.
How can I make an Exchange?
We are sorry but we do not accept an exchange. We kindly ask you to return the goods and place a new order.
