Chain Pattern Pleated Silk Satin Tie

Stefano Cau's pleated silk satin tie, with a stylish chain pattern, is a piece of the highest tailoring made in Italy. The making of this tie is very exclusive because a special technique is required to make it. For each tie, a meter of fabric is used, which is then folded thanks to a special machine and machine-sewn onto a cotton cloth to guarantee its hold. Next, the obtained pleated fabric is sewn by hand, thanks to a special sewing technique, with the unpleated fabric, and the effect obtained is amazing. On the pleated part the pattern looks completely different while on the unpleated part the pattern of the original design can be appreciated, the 45-degree stripe effect makes everything very harmonious. The only fabric that can be used to make the pleated tie is a heavy woven silk satin because it is the only one that is conducive to hot folding.
